Company Formation in Oman with Foreign Ownership

The Foreign Capital Investment Law, Royal Decree 50/2019 effective from 2 January 2020, allows a foreign investor to own an Omani company 100% in most activities without an Omani partner, except activities on the excluded list. Registration is online through the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion’s official Business Platform at business.gov.om, formerly Invest Easy.
